DraftKings NFL Best Ball:
-
Don’t run more than one draft at a time. Don’t switch from tab to tab during the draft, keep the DK draft tab open (active).
- If the Draft Capital table data seems stale, click on the “Draft Board” tab and the data will refresh after a second.
- You need to be on the “Players” tab in order for the “Use Queue” and “Auto Draft” options to see the draftable selections and make a pick.
- You can change your settings in the middle of a draft and the updates will be applied automatically on your next turn.
-
You can grab your existing best ball player exposures from the DK lineups page and those exposures will be displayed on the best ball draft
screen. Go to https://www.draftkings.com/lineup and click the “View Exposure” button. Choose NFL and “Best Ball” under the “Game Set” menu.
Then click on the “Collect” button and you’ll see a popup telling you how many unique best ball players you have exposure to.
You can re-run the collect at any time, after you have completed more drafts and the numbers have changed.
- You can force a certain position to be drafted by clicking on that position in the header of the player container.
- You can overlay up to three data columns on the draft screen, for each player, by clicking on the “Best Ball” tab in the settings and
then selecting from the choices for “Column 1,” Column 2,” and “Column 3.” The same values are used on DK and Underdog.
-
Custom ADP can be uploaded. There’s a template file available to download, edit, and then upload on the “DK BB Draft Settings” tab.
The “ID,” “Name,” “Position,” and “ADP” headers are required and the file must be a .csv file. The IDs are DK IDs and the player matching won’t work if you change the values in Column A.
- If you upload custom ADP via the “DK BB Draft Settings” interface, that custom ADP will be used instead of the default DK ADP during drafts. You need to delete your custom ADP file by clicking the “Delete ADP Data” button if you want the DK ADP defaults to be used.
- If you get a “DataTables” warning popup, that indicates a formatting error in the .csv file. It could be an extra column of data or missing comma, but the file may not parse correctly. Click on “View Data” to verify the data was uploaded correctly.
- If you are not using the “Auto Draft” draft mode, be aware that DK will switch into its own “autodraft” mode after the clock runs out on two consecutive picks. When this toggle (on the right-hand side) is enabled, the DraftCaddy code won’t run to completion because the DK autodrafter makes an instant selection once you go on the clock. You must turn off the DK “autodraft” green toggle slider in order for “Use Queue” mode to work as expected.
-
The “Use Queue” draft mode is triggered whenever the queue is empty.
- The “Robust” QB, RB, WR, and TE positional draft strategy boosts are turned off after the sixth round.
Underdog NFL Best Ball:
- Can open more than one tab for simultaneous drafts, but remember that any settings change will be used for all drafts. One way around this is to run a draft in Chrome and another draft in Firefox at the same time with different settings because the extension uses browser storage, and Firefox settings are separate from Chrome.
- If the Draft Capital table data seems stale, click on the grid icon to the left of your username, in the far right column, and the data will refresh after a second.
- You can change your settings in the middle of a draft and the updates will be applied automatically on your next turn.
- If the “Guide Me” gets hung up and doesn’t seem to be scrolling through players, just refresh the page.
- You can force a certain position to be drafted by clicking on that position in the header of the player container.

-
To display player exposures on the draft screen, go to “Drafts” -> “Completed” -> “Exposure” and click the “>” arrow. Then, in the DraftCaddy, click “Grab Exposures.” Under the “Best Ball” settings tab, choose “NFL Underdog Exposures” as one of the three column dropdown options.
